Gunung Sari Temple;
Heroic patriotism remains alongside the history of Perang Puputan (suicide attack) as the last battle between the Dutch General, Van der Petter, with his troops and the King of Lombok Anak Agung Nengah with his followers (November 22, 1894).
The battle, fought on the hill of Gunung Sari, was ended by the defeat of the King. A temple, known as Pura Gunung Sari, was erected on the hilltop as the witness of the tragedy. It is four kilometres from Mataram to the north.

Mayura Temple;
The royal floating palace (Bale Kambang) of the former Balinese kingdom which was built in 1714,  it is located in Cakranegara, right opposite to the Pura Meru temple that was built in 1720.

Meru Temple
The largest Hindu Temple in Lombok is the Pura Meru. The Pura Meru as the symbolises of the universe and has three courts and it is dedicated to the Trimurti, the Hindu Trinity of Brahma, Shiva and Wisnu (some occasions, this area cant be visited, guest can only see it from outside)

Narmada Water Palace;
This historical summer place is used to be a palace of Anak Agung Gede Ngurah, one of Balinese king from Karangasem Bali, built in 1727. the name Narmada Was derived from the name of a holy river india. It also meants ‘tear” or “unknown water”. Narmada was built for worshipping the Hindu god, Shiva.Here you see a miniature of Mount Rinjani and Segara Anak lake with a holy temple on the top.

Lingsar Temple;
This is a unique and sacred temple of to belief, Hindus and Moslem Waktu Telu who worship together in one place for their own belief. It was built around is the oldest and holiest temple in lombok, owned by both Hindus Moslem Waktu telu.

Mt Pengsong;
From this place you can see the Rice paddy fields, the surrounding villages and the entire towns of Ampenan, Mataram and Cakranegara. When the weather is clear with blue sky, Mt Agung is at your west side accross the Lombok strait.
Some photographers frequently took this spot for the best Lombok sunset. This place is regardless one of the sacred places for the Hindus, therefore on the very top of this hill was built one holy temple with few shrines. Some also note that the monkeys that live in this area was said to be the protector of this holy place.

Batu Bolong Temple
This  temple is located above the black rock Senggigi Beach which has a hole or holes in the middle. With its position that juts into the sea, of course, this temple has its own atmosphere of beauty. This Hindu sacred site at a glance will remind tourists of Pura Tanah Lot in Bali Island, the building of worship located on the shoreline with the position jutting into the sea.
